Jillian Peña is a dance and video artist primarily concerned with confusion and desire between self and other. Her work is in dialogue with psychoanalysis, queer theory, pop media, and spirituality.
"Compromise' is a collection of conversations the artist has with herself. She talks directly to the camera while replicas of her can be seen doing things in the background. This film analyzes representation and how we share our lives with others.
